I really like this front carrier. It is well made with a good solid yet bendable base and sides/front with padding so that it is really warm in our cold Portland weather. My 3 kg (6.6lb) chihuahua was instantly comfortable. She likes to have her head out the top but I am working on teaching her to look out the side for a more 'indognito' effect.
I am 5'7' tall and I had to lengthen the straps to just 3' left so be aware if you are tall.
The pocket inside for the screen is too open and I had to use the inside clip to fasten it closed so she didn't end up inside it.
I saw a review complaining of the linen one being very wrinkled. That is a just linen and should eventually improve with a lot of use and laundering. Cotton will wrinkle too when washed but will smooth out by hand before hanging dry.

My dog is 8 pounds and there is plenty of room. It is very nicely made and was easy to carry my dog around for hours. She felt safe and secured I would definitely buy again!
