How to Find the Right Fit for Your Pup
Every pup is built a little differently. 🐾 Finding the right size isn’t just about one measurement — your pup’s body shape and the style of each piece matter too.

How to Measure Your Pup
For the best fit, have your pup stand naturally while measuring.
Chest Girth
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Neck
Measure around the base of the neck where a collar would naturally sit.
Back Length
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Weight
Your pup’s current weight is also a helpful reference when choosing between sizes.
Start with Girth & Weight
For most NKPUP styles, we recommend starting with your pup’s chest girth and weight. Then consider the measurements that matter most for the particular design.

Between Two Sizes?
If your pup is between sizes, the style and season can help you decide.
For lightweight summer shirts, you may consider sizing down if you prefer a closer fit.
For winter vests, jackets, and thicker layers, consider sizing up for a little extra room and comfort.
If your pup has a fuller chest or lots of fluff, sizing up may also provide a more comfortable fit.
Pants & Overalls : Back length is especially important for longer styles like pants and overalls.
And remember — breed and weight are helpful references, but your pup’s actual measurements are the best guide.
